Sanibel Mayor Issues Call To Action: Contact Army Corp Of Engineers To Immediately Stop The Massive Releases And Immediately Stop The Back Pumping Into Lake Okeechobee.

The City Of Sanibel issued this news release tonight.

“Tonight, Sanibel Mayor Kevin Ruane issued this call to action: “We call on every person who understands that our water quality is the engine that drives the southwest Florida economy to contact the Army Corp of Engineers with this critical message:
‘Immediately stop the massive releases and immediately stop the back pumping into Lake Okeechobee.’.”

    It is not the army core of engineers we need to appeal to. We need to be flooding rick scotts office with mail and all the other boys in talahasee. Not to mention the south west florida water management district. They had a chance to start fixing it this year and let it go by. We should also be boycotting the U.S Sugar corporation and the Florida Crystals corporation. They are the root of the problem.
