“The prognosis is good for a sea turtle found in apparent ill health Saturday at Barnacle Phil’s restaurant in North Captiva, officials from the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife said.
The 52-pound adult green sea turtle was pale and suffering from a breathing issue and depression when it was taken to the clinic. It has a common disease that causes tumors to appear on the body of turtles, and it’s also believed to be suffering from red tide exposure.”
