Making Progress Toward Sanibel Roundabouts.

“Congested intersections on Sanibel and Fort Myers creeped a bit closer Friday to being fitted with roundabouts to alleviate frequent and frustrating traffic jams.
A regional transportation agency also took a step toward adding another Fort Myers intersection to the list.
Traffic-tangled intersections at Periwinkle Way and Causeway Boulevard on Sanibel and at Winkler Avenue and Challenger Boulevard in Fort Myers won Metropolitan Planning Organization endorsement for 30 percent of the cost of designing the roundabouts.”
