Hurricane Charley 10 Year Anniversary ~ Dickey Lane, Captiva Village
This Dickey Lane photo is pretty representative of what we encountered after Hurricane Charley as we entered the Captiva Village.
A lot of work had been done to clear Captiva Drive of the Australian pines blocking the road, but there was debris everywhere and we had to “cut” our way into our driveway with a chain saw in order to get through the downed limbs and trees piled along the roadway and blocking our entrance.
