“The next meeting of the Captiva Community Panel is set for Tuesday, August 8 beginning at 9 a.m. in the meeting rooms by Chadwicks Square at South Seas Island Resort. This meeting is open to all interested islanders and the public.
Among the agenda items:
- Discussion of next steps for proposed Captiva Plan update.
- Update on priority committees including wastewater, invasive species, Captiva Drive bike/pedestrian improvements and island rentals.
- Captiva Erosion Prevention District update.
- Captiva Fire District update.
- Other business as necessary.
Public participation is invited and encouraged. The next CaptivaCommunity Panel meeting will be held on September 12.”
