Wulfert Land Acquisition Meeting March 24 @ 4:30 PM @ Sanctuary Golf Club.
The Captiva Community Panel issued the following news release.
“A key piece of property totaling 8.5 acres at the entrance to Wulfert Road has come up for sale.
This land would provide an important corridor for wildlife, linking the Refuge and SCCF land. The Wulfert Land Acquisition Campaign is spearheaded by Ding Darling Wildlife Society — Friends of the Refuge.
To find out more about the campaign to purchase this property, an informational meeting will be held 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, at the Sanctuary clubhouse, 2801 Wulfert Road, Sanibel.
