Best Tarpon Fishing Of A Lifetime Off Sanibel & Captiva Yesterday!
Tarpon aren’t even supposed to be around this time of year.
But the tarpon fishing was extraordinary just offshore of both Sanibel & Captiva yesterday!
Tarpon were feeding on the bunched bait schools as the moved south.
One boat jumped more than two dozen tarpon and brought seven to the boat in just a couple of hours!
Sharks, Spanish Mackerel and Little Tunny were also moving in and out of the bait schools. Birds were diving into the bunched-up bait to feed. It was a spectacular fishing!
