Blind Pass Bridge Single Lane Closures, 9 AM – 5 PM
City of Sanibel Press Release:
“The City of Sanibel Received Notice from Lee County Department of Transportation of Upcoming Maintenance to the Blind Pass Bridge Beginning Monday, September 22nd.
Lee County DOT will be performing a post-application test/evaluation on the middle span of the Blind Pass Bridge as part of a pilot project to evaluate the effectiveness of a coating in mitigating bridge deck corrosion that was applied August 28th of last month.
The work is scheduled to start September 22nd and be completed within the same day, weather permitting. There will be single lane closures from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the north and south bound lanes.”
