The Sports Illustrated used Captiva Island as a tropical backdrop for its swimsuit edition again this year.
Profesional tennis star Caroline Wozniacki and mixed martial arts fighter Ronda Rousey were photographed on Captiva by Walter Iooss, Jr. for this year’s Sports Illustrated issue.
Caroline Wozniacki posted some of the photos on Twitter and Ronda Rousey did the same on Instagram. The photos were shot on several of the barrier islands, including on Cayo Costa.
Sports Illustrated was last on Captiva in 1981, when Christie Brinkley was featured on the cover.
