Rescheduled Earth Day Celebration Begins @ Jensen’s Marina Wednesday, April 29 @ 10 AM.

Jensen’s pushed back the Earth Day and clean water rally a week to this Wednesday, April 29 at 10 AM.

“Earth Day is typically a day meant for tree-huggers.

But this Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 10-11:00am everyone who’s a fan of clean water will gather at Jensen’s Marina and –united– will use one voice to speak directly to Florida’s Governor and Leadership.

We’ll gather to send a message to them, as well as our west coast Senators and Representatives, urging they stand with Senator Joe Negron and his efforts to open the door to a sugar land purchase before the
fast-approaching deadline … and before one more drop of bad water is dumped to our coasts.

Of course, what’s a rally without excellent music and tasty snacks?

Please be at Jensen’s Marina on Wednesday, April 30 by 10:00am and be ready to get your groove on with the musical delights of Austin Church and Bob Hipkens.

“I Cart Ice Cream” will be here serving cups of Queenie’s Ice Cream from under their purple umbrella! There will be solidarity fish to paint, manatee photo-ops, and a whole lotta fun!

There’s a press conference scheduled for 10:15 am, so please be here at 10:00 … the more bodies the better.  (Besides, 10am is when the ice cream cart opens!)

Folks will be arriving by boat, kayak, stand-up paddleboard, and bicycle.

Please…do whatever you can to car-pool, if you must drive to this event.

Let’s send a clear message to Florida’s Legislative body, on behalf of Mother Earth’s clean waters. Peace!

The Marching Mullets

Of course, if you still want a tree to hug, we’ll arrange for that, too.”
