Island Jazz Concerts of 2015.
Island Jazz is in its tenth season of free Sunday afternoon concerts in the Boler Garden at BIG ARTS, 900 Dunlop Road, Sanibel. The group plays a variety of styles including jazz standards, Dixieland, bop, pop and salsa.
“Island Jazz features Harry Reiner on trumpet, Tom Cooley on drums, Louis Pradt on clarinet, John Schiedo on saxophone, Bill Johns on bass, Gene Federico on guitar and vocals, and Charlie Winkler on keyboard.
Special guest vocalist is Sally-Jane Heit. Frequent guest players include many of the best jazz musicians in southwest Florida playing all styles of music from jazz standards and Dixieland to bop, pop, salsa, and more. Even if it rains, the show goes on; it simply moves into the covered Gainer Veranda.” Source: Island Jazz.
