“A man was rescued Saturday afternoon after the boat he was on board capsized off the coast of Sanibel.
Lee County deputies received a distress call at around 2:37 p.m on Saturday.
According to Coast Guard officials, strong winds caused the 6 to 8 foot sailboat to capsize. It happened several hundred feet from the Sanibel Fishing Pier — where bystanders watched as crews rushed in to save the boater.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found the boater in the water.”
