Planning Commission: Dark Sky Debate & Parking Space Analysis
Concern About Cell Tower Illumination & Aircraft Safety.
In the December 9th meeting, the Sanibel Planning Commission began discussion of the proposed revisions to the Dark Sky Ordinance.
There was considerable dialog about cell and other towers on Sanibel and the risk of not effectively illuninating these towers, particularly as it relates to aircraft flying at night performing mosquito spraying.
