Changes To Expense Reimbursement Policies Covers Council Members.
At the February Sanibel City Council Meeting, the council chose not to pursue the issue of compensation for elected council members at this time. Previously, there had been discussion of submitting the issue to a voter referendum.
Slight changes to the expense reimbursement policies and procedures have been enacted and are believed to be sufficient to remedy the issue of expenses that were being incurred by council members, but not reimbursed.
