Very Early, But Already Seeing Tarpon
Guides Already Reporting Tarpon Rolling In The Bay!
Sanibel Rentals, 3-22-15, Sanibel Island: We went from an extended spell of very cold weather in February and early March and then quickly shifted to very warm weather.
It looks like this acted as a trigger for some early season tarpon to move out of the river and inlets and into the bay.
Fishing guides are reporting sightings of scattered tarpon rolling in the bay and have already have hooked some with cut and live bait.
Looks like it is going to be a good tarpon fishing season!
