Seven people rescued near Knapps Point on Sanibel after boat flips

As reported by NBC 2:  seven people rescued near Knapps Point

“Seven people were rescued after the boat they were on flipped Saturday morning, according to U.S. Coast Guard officials.

Coast Guard crews received a report of a capsized boat at around 10:15 a.m.

Four adults and three children — ranging between the ages of four and five — were pulled from the water four miles south of Knapps Point on Sanibel Island at around 11:06 a.m.  All seven people were evaluated by Sanibel EMS.”
