Planning Commission Recommends Proceeding With New Dark Sky Ordinance.
At last week’s Sanibel City Council Meeting, the Planning Commission reported back to the council regarding the proposed revisions to the Dark Sky Ordinance.
The Planning Commission supported the proposed revisions with some modest recommndations around building permit fees, education programs and the balance of the aesthetics of dark skies and public safety.
