Roundabouts Coming To Sanibel?
Sanibel City Council Exploring Roundabout At Periwinkle & Causeway Boulevard.
The Sanibel City Council is in the beginning stages of considering the merits of converting the intersection of Periwinkle Way and Causeway Boulevard into a roundabout.
Sanibel has asked to participate in the Lee County Roundabout Feasibility Study.
Periwinkle Way and Causeway Boulevard is a high traffic intersection and chokepoint on Sanibel Island and a roundabout may be an approach to alleviate some of the congestion and expedite traffic during the peak times of the year.
